Hi my name is teddy and I am a shih tzu only 3 years old. I had a accident had a large piece of metal fall on my front leg and crush it. It has been a long haul, I have had 3 surgeries and two infections and finally after 85 days of pain. My mommy and the doctor decieded it was enough. My mom did not handle it well she is still crying everyday. But on 12/3/2009 they did amputation of my front leg. So glad to see that i am not the only one. And so happy to see I can do just like all the others I see on this web site.

You are really handsome. You will do terrific. Tell your Mommy not to cry because you are going to do very well. Tripawds Rule! In just a few weeks, you will be running just as fast as ever and doing all the same old things you used to do. It feels so good to get rid of the pain doesn’t it? Hang in there and keep posting. Hi Lisa,
Sorry to hear Teddy is having trouble. You really should write a new blog post with your concerns. Or, start a new topic in the discussion forums to ask everyone there. Otherwise, members are not going to see your cooments here on this blog post.
FYI: Only blog posts, not comments, appear in the recent posts shown atop the Forums and Chat pages. And since you have not yet published any blog posts most members probably don’t even know Teddy’s blog exists yet.
Has your vet told you it is a pinched nerve? What has he suggested. A warm compress may also help expedite healing. Please publish a new blog post, or start a new forum topic. You will then receive lots of help from all our members I’m sure!
